-Your character arrives in an abandoned, post apocalyptic world, that could almost pass for earth like, if you discount all the strange bits of broken technology and animal life.
-The livable world is about 1500 acres or 575 city blocks in size.
-People arrive, leave and revive through the fog.
-The 'livable' area is surrounded by a thick black, impenetrable fog... that if you walk into it, you come back out from other, random areas of fog in another part of the city.
-You fly too high, and you hit an invisible wall that throws you out into the 'livable' area from random heights and angles.
-Death is not permanent, but there is a penalty... It's up to player discretion but here are some ideas [Link to list of possible death penalties]
-People arrive and revive from the fog...
-Bodies vanish after a short time by turning into fog and rejoining the banks of it on the edges of the world.
3b. Add "That wears a tuxedo" to the part about the rubber duck.
About Events
-Eventually more areas of fog will clear to make more space. [This is done only by mods and will be event related.]
-Random events/reality shifts will happen every month or so... [Link to list of possible shifts] Things will come out of the fog or bits of fog will 'attack' people to cause affects. Monthly? Depending on the storm and the amount of activity... don't want them to get to be too predictable...
-Shifts might overlap... ie, if a zombie attack storm lasts a week... it might overlap with a 'random effect' storm, like... um... a song and dance storm... for a day or two...
The song and dance storm would last about 2 weeks, but it's random and spotty... people are affected at different times for different lengths... The Zombies would be a solid week, affecting both people as well as the general area. (Note: While the world changes, characters do not have to encounter the zombies or whatever.)
So... someone could end up killing zombies while singing show tunes.... or the Zombies might do the thriller dance...
ALL EVENTS ARE OPTIONAL.
The world is strange that way... Characters can at times be completely oblivious to some of the changes in the city... But then again, when the entire place shifts into a new look and location, that's a lot harder to ignore. Why does it happen? It's still a mystery...
