I'm not sure either. I would consider it an AU, but... Will there be other characters coming in from the old game? ie, another person playing from that exact universe? If not, when posting use the tag 'character: gambit au' If yes, 'character: gambit transplant'
The 'transplant' tag is more for characters who'd run into another character from the same DW/LJ game (or possibly from a musebox or thread) where they would retain game memories and possibly have existing CR or powers gained in said game.
